How?

Twitterprose is updated daily by entries I select from personal readings and recommendations from readers. Most of the time I will post no more or less than one entry per day.

How to read Twitterprose

The entries posted on this blog are automatically posted to the Twitterprose account on Twitter. Twitter is free, and if you already have a Twitter account, just add Twitterprose.

If you have some kind of blog-reading software, such as Google Reader or Bloglines, you can subscribe to the Twitterprose RSS feed.

Or just check twitterprose.com on a regular basis.

How text is selected

Many of the entries feature first lines; others feature lines that are simply choice. Twitter’s 140-character limit has some influence on that decision, as not all first lines break at the 120-character point.

The remaining 20-odd characters in a Twitterprose entry link to a record for the full item on Librarything (if it’s a book) or to an online journal or similar resource.
