Long answer: there are some great Web resources for literature and general, as well as fiction, but far fewer dedicated to promoting (as opposed to publishing) creative nonfiction.
I am an enthusiastic subscriber to Debra Hamel’s Twitterlit, but felt there was room for a feed dedicated to the “fourth genre.”
I am drawn to creative nonfiction — also known as literary nonfiction, or more rarely, the prose of fact — for reasons I do not fully understand. Perhaps it is because of its freedom — it is still largely free of conventions for its length, style, or forms. Perhaps it is because of its rigor; it must be true to the facts, at least in the most honest sense. But then again, some things are not knowable.
